HŪHĀ Music promotes& supports te reo Māori musicians, connecting them globally through cultural collaborations & authentic networks.
HŪHĀ Music is an online hub for Musicians and Producers
to assist them with their global touring strategies, workshops and culture exchange.
From festivals to indigenous/First Nation community connections, we have an extensive global manaaki (support) for artists wanting to travel with their music.
HŪHĀ taps into existing music currents and helps Māori language musicians from Aotearoa (aka New Zealand) navigate these opportunities with our global networks. We are working for a future where confident te reo Māori musicians know they can travel with their Māori music and be supported in a long-term career with their reo (language).
With 20 years of experience in music releasing, artist development and promotion, Huia Hamon and the team are on a mission to provide musicians with access to global stages, world audiences, and international touring circuits.
HŪHĀ was seeded with support from the Pan-Indigenous (WOMEX) Network, Te Māngai Pāho, Oro, Outward Sound (NZMIC), Kog Studio, Kog/Chief Records and Tātaki.
